FACING THE HIDDEN TRUTH BEHIND THE DOOR

5Giving the Bible and the Quran a conscience test

14 CONSCIENCE TESTS OF THE TWO BOOKS

THE QURAN
Translation by Yusuf Ali
THE BIBLE
The King James Version
1 The Quran promises that all men after death will first be taken to hell [Sura19:66-71]. It also promises beautiful ladies for men as reward for righteousness in heaven [Sura56:11-24, 37:48-49]. The Bible promises eternal life for all [Rev 3:5; 2:7], it also promises all the morning star (i.e. the eternal life of Jesus) [Rev 2:26-28], and kingship with the Lord on his throne [Rev 3:21].
Conscience asks: why must a good God put all souls (good and evil) in painful hell first before finally judging them? And why is emphasis only placed on rewarding righteous men? Why exactly is emphasis placed on rewarding righteous men with women? Does it mean men and women are not equal? And what are women useful for in heaven- mere instruments to serve men?
2 The Quran reveals that God has chosen (as esteemed) men above women [Sura37:149-153, 2:228]. God created men and women as equal [1 Pe 3:7] with men only heading women in marriage [Gen 3:16], so as to maintain order. God is no respecter of any man [Acts 10:34], [Rom 2:11], and he has chosen Israel- the church (which comprises of both men and women [Deu 7:6].
Conscience asks: why would God chose men above women when we’re all mankind created by him- a good God?
3 The Quran encourages husbands to beat their wives [Sura4:33-34]. The Bible says to men to love their wives the way Christ loved the church [1 Pe 3:7].
Conscience asks: why should wives who are fellow mankind like husbands be treated this way?
4 The Quran does not encourage reasoning [Sura33:36, 40:4, 17:36, 42:35]. The Bible encourages us to reason [Isa 1:18; Ecc 2:14] and to test every word we hear and not just believing them blindly [1 Jn 4:1], using the fruits (works) of allthing to know them [Matt 7:20].
Conscience asks: are we not a creation with minds that constantly thirst for knowledge rather than robots that simply take commands having no mind of theirs?
5 The Quran reveals that there’ll be killing and shedding of blood in heaven [Sura56:11-21]. The Bible reveals that in heaven, there is neither death nor pain [Rev 21:4].
Conscience asks: isn’t heaven supposed to be a place of no pain, sorrow and death and full of eternal bliss for all?
6 The Quran encourages longing for death [Sura62:6-7, 22:15]. The Bible wishes for us above all things to prosper (in life) and be in good health [3 Jn 1:2]. God says he will satisfy us with long life [Psa 91:16; Pro 3:2].
Conscience asks: if death is a painful thing, why then would a good God admonish us to long for pain?
7 The Quran reveals that 4 men can launch a charge against a chaste woman and later repent of it to escape the 80 stripes penalty of wrongly accusing a chaste woman [Sura24:4-5]. The Bible says thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor [Exo 20:16; 23:1; Luk 18:20; Pro 6:16-19]. And they cannot by repentance escape the penalty for bearing false witness [Deu 19:16-19; Pro 19:5, 9; 25:18].
Conscience asks: doesn’t this move of the Quran open up free doors for chaste women to be occasionally and unjustly harrassed? And why can’t 4 women also launch a charge against a man they know to not be chaste? Does this mean that women don’t have equal rights with men?
8 The Quran encourages swearing to prove oneself as true [Sura5:106-108, 75:1-2, 24:6-10, 56:75-77, 70:40]. The Bible admonishes us to let our Yes be Yes and our No be No [Mt 5:37] and that we shouldn’t swear in the name of anything in heaven nor or on earth [Mt 5:34-36].
Conscience asks: does this law not open up the possibility for the truth to be unjustly cheated on and painted as a lie just by the swearing of a liar against the truth?
9 The Quran declares that wives are a tilth to their husbands and that the husbands should use them (have sex with them) whichever way they please [Sura2:223]. The Bible says that he who has found a wife has found a good thing [Pro 18:22].
Conscience asks: why would a good God refer to women (who are his creations) in such a manner? And why is the will and emotional need of the woman not to be considered by the husband in a relationship such as marriage that is supposed to be more loving than any other form of relationship amongst men?
10 The Quran reveals that God created man in weakness [Sura30:54] and that he is the one who personally causeth man to die [Sura6:2, 22:66, 23:15, 45:26, 71:17-18, 80:21]. The Bible says that God does not burden or willingly afflict us [Lam 3:33]. It says God created man good [Gen 1:26-31] but man fell to sin bringing death upon himself [Rom 5:12].
Conscience asks: why would a good and perfect God not only create mankind in weakness but also go ahead to deliberately cause us to go through the pain of death?
11 The Quran discourages praying for the forgiveness of unbelievers when you see them in the wrong path [Sura9:113-114. The Bible says we should pray for our enemies [Mt 5:43-46], Yahushua/Jesus prayed for his killers [Luk 23:34].
Conscience asks: where is the love factor in not wishing your fellow mankind well and how can such a God who commands this be good?
12 The Quran commands every of its believers to never kill another believer [Sura4:92]. The Bible says thou shall not kill [Exo 20:13].
Conscience asks: why did the Quran not ask its followers not to kill at all but instead specifically asked them not to kill another believer? Is the Quran encouraging and endorsing the killing of all its unbelievers?
13 The Quran calls its believers a variety of names ranging from: The Bible calls its believers a variety of names ranging from:
Conscience asks: where is the affection and care a good loving God shares with his creations if a friend is the highest level of intimacy we can ever attain with him?
14 The Quran encourages fighting [Sura2:216, 8:74, 9:29, 9:123, 4:95, 4:84, 61:4]. The Bible discourages fighting and encourages peace making [Mt 5:9; Rom 12:17; Gal 5:22-23].
Conscience asks: why would a good God encourage something as negative as fighting?

Conclusion

One thing I have learnt by observation is that the conscience guide manifests itself much stronger that the intelligence guide. Unlike the intelligence guide which acts rather subtle, the conscience guide acts more perceptible for it goes ahead to emotionally judge and condemn the one who doesn’t listen to its verdicts. So while we guided us to hear and understand the voice of gentle intelligence, we’ll leave the much more loud conscience guide to do what it knows how to do best concerning judging which of the two books is more moral appealing. After examining the table above- even if you did it casually without much attention, you can be sure your obvious conclusion would be as good as ours.

OUR FINAL CONCLUSION- 5 UNDENIABLE FACTS ABOUT THE BIBLE

1The Bible is unbelievably more intelligent than the Quran

The Bible tested with wisdom- the first teacher, proves Yahushua/Jesus is divine and the Quran which came after it with the aim to correct it saddled with the double responsibility and burden of proving it false and then its own facts true could not intelligently do all this.
The Bible has therefore earned the title: BBPPO, meaning Backed By Prophesy-Proving Omniscience.

2The Bible’s remarkable uniformity even in diversity

The Bible (BBPPO) was written over a space of 1,600 years:

  • By 40 different men from various backgrounds: farmers, fishermen, a lawyer, prophets, kings and the rest.
  • In 3 different languages: Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek.
  • In 3 different continent: Africa, Asia and Europe.

And surprisingly, these 40 different men all seem to tell the same one story to the most spectacular level of accuracy. That story speaks basically about the birth, death and resurrection of Yahushua/Jesus - the messiah to take away the sins of the world thereby saving man from death and hell. The probability that all these men (most living before Yahushua/Jesus and some after him) came up with these stories can only be very slim if we want to be sincere.

On the other hand, the entirety of the Quran was said to be transmitted to Muhamad by an angel- Gabriel and speaks about how Allah is the one true God and Muhamad is his messenger.

When one compares the evolution of the Bible (BBPPO) to that of the Quran, putting into consideration the fact that in contrast to the Bible (BBPPO):

  • The whole Quran was delivered to one man only.
  • Written personally by one man only.
  • In one language only- Arabic.
  • In one continent only-Asia.
  • Telling us a story, mainly about the intentions and commands of Allah.
  • And also about this one author-man (who seems to be a judge in his own case) being the seal of the prophets.

It gets pretty obvious that the Bible (BBPPO) by this factor of uniformity even in diversity proves to all to be the book backed by the omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient spirit Holy God, and therefore the book which most definitely possesses the most veracity.

3The Bible (BBPPO) appeals more to the natures of our first teacher

We have earlier learnt that prophesy is the perfect evidence of intelligence and all-knowingness, but it is also important that we take note that sacrificial-giving is the perfect evidence of good conscience and love. The Bible (BBPPO) seems to not only be an intelligent story book- by the instrument of prophesy, but also be an emotional love story for God so loved the world that he gave his most precious to die for us. These two observations totally appeal to the natures of our first teacher that very well now appears to have been indeed most definitely given to us by the God of the Bible.

4The Bible stands on its own and needs no help defending itself just like truth

While Christianity sticks to its one book and attaching no one extra, Judaism and Islam not only accept portions of the Bible’s revelations but go ahead to possess their own separate books in extra to their biblical portions- the Talmud for the Jews and the Hadith for the Muslims. Christianity which came after Judaism and before Islam ironically really does seem to not only honor the one personality by which the 3 religions are bonded and/or broken apart but also be the center point from which Judaism and Islam scripturally diverge, is this a mere coincidence or what? We can confidently now say we guess not.

5It turns out that God can perfectly be proven to exist historically, scientifically and philosophically:

  1. The matrix hides God from us using education by metering out disinformation about history
  2. The matrix hides God from us using science by metering out disinformation about the sun
  3. And the matrix hides God from us using biased philosophy by making the misinformation metered out by their misleading educational system (which will ensure it never becomes possible for us to effectively put the innate wisdom of our minds into principled action) become our belief system.
